Portchester B (8pts) - 130 for 2 (12 ov) lost to Fareham & Crofton B (20pts) – 131 for 2 (10 ov)

Another shocker by the B Team. Batting first Taylor (11) and Nutland (20) got off to a slow start. Talyor trying to quicken the scoring got Run Out. Gale joined Nutland and a partnership of 20 between the two before Gale (10) was caught going for a big hit. Stainton arrived with the score 52 for 2, with extras scoring to help the team. Nutland and Stainton scored freely with lots of extras (59) coming throughout the innings. Stainton finished on 24* with Young (4) final score 130 for 3.
The bowling lacked any penetration and Fareham looked comfortable all the way through their innings, while having a few lucky moments. Fareham reached their total in the tenth over with only Nutland and Taylor taking wickets, mind you at least this week there was a catch taken by Jade. Improvement.
This again was a performance that will see the B Team fighting against relegation this term unless improvement all round is achieved. The team needs new blood! Anyone interested?
