The club is having a Snooker Night on Saturday the 29th March, 7:30pm
at the Majestic Snooker Club - 223-225 Kingston Road, Portsmouth, PO2 7EG.
All are welcome - This is a Team-building Night, 1st team players are expected to attend! It would be great to see others there as well.

The brains trust of Biggs, Buckle, Gale and Hungerford had a shocker at the Hampshire League’s annual Sports Quiz, held at Bath Lane on the 21st February.
Biggsy filling in for the unavailable Stainton particularly enjoyed his evening!! Although he did make the most of the free sandwiches on offer…
The team’s final score of 116 saw them finish in 7th place on the night [out of 7!] and 19th overall - out of 25. With the top 18 sides going through to the next round, we missed out by one place and by 5 points. Mr Biggs was devastated not to make it through!

Many thanks to Dave O’Neill (left), who arranged a fantastic evening for this year’s Presentation Evening. Personally I felt that the venue was the best for the Evening that I have been to - it was the right size, the food was good and most importantly the price of beer was very reasonable!
The club owes Dave and Ian Docker who helped him a huge debt for all the hard work they did to get the do on. We should also thank Keith Wood for volunteering to be the DJ for the night and Charlie & Dianne who helped arrange all the tables and chairs. Thanks also to Craig who managed to keep the Presentation down to less than 2 hours this year and Dave Pearson for his wonderfully entertaining speech!

Many thanks to The Mayor of Fareham, Mrs Katrina Trott and husband Peter who on the 31st of October put on a lovely curry & chilli for the Portchester CC players who were part of the Mayor’s side for the 2007 season.
To thank Katrina and Peter, the players each made a donation towards the Mayor’s charities.
This year’s Presentation Evening & Dinner Dance is to be held at Portchester Sailing Club on the 17th November, 7pm for 7:30pm start, finish at midnight.
The cost is £20 per head inclusive of a disco with Keith Wood the DJ for the night available for requests - as long as they are for Paul Weller or the Jam!
